So here is the photo for Captain from his one point day on 6/4/2009 BOW. Big excitement for the coming trip , can't wait to see everyone both human and canine.

Woofstock Day 4

So today was pretty much like the last. A class one but did get the reserve.We should have been able to get WD but Captain needs to work more and I need to get off my rear and do it. We were in the same ring all 4 days and all he wanted to do was sniff  anything and everything inside and outside. The grass was little tall and had some mounds of dirt so he wanted to jump at lot. I think he is starting to go through his sniff and mark phase. He is starting to raise his a leg a little to mark. Puppy is a puppy. So I will be working him going to conformation classes before Bandon. Spoke to my group down here and at least one was going up to Bandon and maybe another set. Did get my first set of pictures yesterday from his 3 point win and did take photos from Thursday's 1 point. Talk to soon.

Woofstock Day 3

So today was only class one but no puppy again got anything higher. At the end of reserve as I started to walk out the judge pulled be to the side. He just I had an exceptional puppy and once he gets put all together he should go very far. This would be the best thing a judge as said to me so far other then you have a nice puppy. The other funny thing would be that when he was on the table and the judge went to look at him he said he needed a bigger table. Thought that was funny. So will try to put up some pics later and hopefully tomorrow we can get the 2 points available.

Woofstock Day 2

So today was not as good as yesterday in some points. He still got a blue for class but he was the only one in class. The judge was an old timer very hands on and would tell you if you weren't doing things the "official" way. He was not too interested in puppies seemed he wanted a more mature dog. No puppy in either dog or bitch got a reserve. Today entry was 5-6(1-0) with the special winning. On a side note I received  very good comments from an older couple who after said that the loved Captain then said they had to look up were we got him and said you got him from Mandy and Carolyn. They loved his top line and tail set and said he moved the best once he got going when in for the winners dog group. They said he should have got it. So that was a positive. As everyone knows you can never know what a judge wants until you see what they do and even thing it might make you wonder. Should have pics for tomorrow on day 3 as Denise will be off work. Will twitt and blog tomorrow. Showtime 10:15.

Woofstock Day 1

Today was day 1 of a 4 day show here in Vallejo called Woofstock. It is put on by 2 different kennel clubs. Captain took a class 1 but he was the only one. He did take Winners Dog and Best of Winners for only 1 point. That was fine as that puts me 1 point closer and gives me another judge. She really liked him but he didn't move as well as I would have liked. I think if he would have we could have taken breed. He has a lot of time so I am not worried and we still have three more days of shows. No pics as Denise had to work but I did take a photo as this was his first BOW.
