Captain today got to meet up with Fig at his Ranch in Napa. We all had a great time and they played together very well. Malibu and Duncan were there too. I must say we enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you Alden can't wait til next time. All these photos are on Facebook also with captions. Still can't figure this thing out. They are in no particular order.

Malibu the Spectator

So I needed to show Malibu in all her glamour. She has been the true spectator to many things since we got her. Since has been to many a softball game rooting on her sister Ashley and now she has found a new sport. She now roots on brother Captain as he goes around the ring with dad. Her favorite spot if you couldn't tell is a folding chair. As soon as she gets out of a kennel and sees a chair up she goes. These were taken as she cheered on Captain at the Santa Rosa shows. She can't wait to see everyone in San Diego and show how cute she is.

Need help or suggestions

So as our month of not showing comes to an end and we start to prep for San Diego on Oct 10,11. I am ready and have to move Captain up in class because he will be 1 next month. Time flys by. I am hoping to finish him before the break off for Eukanuba so I get the birth for next year. I am gonna go in December since it is not far and the National club will be holding a special. So my question is because I have to register for a few shows soon I am wondering if I should place in Open or a few shows have the Amateur Owner Handler class. If he is not finished by the Napa show in Nov he will be in that class there because they are offering a huge purse for it on Sunday the 8Th. Would be a great anniversary present. Denise and I will be 17 years that day then off to Reno. If I do finish of course he will and I can move up class. I am gonna really try to put forth the effort of practicing more. He really got into the show on the 4Th day in a row in Santa Rosa. Tell me what you think I would love to know. On a side note I want to join the parent club and need 2 letters of recommendations. Anyone want to help?

A Night of Stress, Happy Ending

So last night I picked up an OT shift. A full 24. The bad thing was I wasn't feeling well the 2 days prior. Then as the shift was going OK I speak with Denise who tels me that Cappy has been vomiting for the last few hours. He had thrown up all his dinner and now was into the white foam stage. Malibu did this ever so often but it was normally in the middle of the night. So I start worrying and panicking. I did not have Internet access and had to go off google on the phone. I think an emergency visit will cost a fortune being the weekend and a holiday on top of it. I would be off today but back to work Monday. So my only hope was to pray that when I got home on He would be his magical self. So I had Denise put up the water bowl so he could try to sleep through the night with nothing in his stomach stomach. So I get home and open the door and HER COMES CAPPY. His great happy self. Seems like nothing has happened. Denise said he only got up once in the night when Ashley got home at 2. Then he got up his normal time at 6 for breakfast. He got less food then normal and some green beans. Might give him some rice tonight. He has not had any problems today. Found nothing as far as breakfast and white foam. Haven't seen him pacing or anxious. I did find a nice size weed root in the backyard that he had been chewing on. He has finally decided that the back porch is not the entire backyard and has started to go up and down the steps at will. No more safe zone for Malibu. Of course the area is fence off and Andrew and I weeded it but he is a digger and got to it. So I am blaming in on the weed.

On another note, at the dog park the other day I let him run free after his squirrel frisbee and he is really fast. Makes me think Flyball.
