First Puppy Class

Well tonight was the first night Captain attended puppy/dog class. The thing I liked about it was that the instructor is having us use hand signals for each command. She uses the signals approved for obedience so you never know maybe he will do obedience too. He is going to a fun match on Saturday so he can start getting use to the ring and what is expected. I just love infodog.com. Needles to say he is now passed out. We had gone to the dog park today for a couple of hours to run him down before class. He met a nice St. Bernard named Dude.

New Stacking

So here are some of Captain stacked. I think I am getting better at this and I am practicing. Just finished a book called Show Me which taught a lot of novice things. We brushed him out today after a couple of hours at the dog park. He is still on the small side and is of course the hit of the park. But as usual I get the "What is he mixed with" question. So at least people in Vallejo are getting educated about Cardis. Most knew Malibu but she is normally on the big side. Captain has not become a punk yet to the small dogs so he has only been on the big side once when there wasn't a lot there. Enjoy and will blog later.

Week 19 updates

Well things are great in Captain land and of course Malibu is loving things too. Captain's ears have now been up for over a week although the right still at times has a fold but he holds them up well. We are done with tapping, YEAH. He has been enjoying the freedom of the dog park and loves it. No big problems yet there. He still hesitates when we get into the car but once inside he loves it. Here are some pics and two cute videos.
