Captain 18 Weeks

So here are new pics. I taped his ears on Monday and took them off tonight just before taking the pics. Hopefully they will stay so we won't have to tape them on Friday with his brother at our meet up. I will be bringing my stuff and camera. Waiting impatiently. Malibu took Captain to the dog park for the first time. Man did they run a lot. He got to meet a bunch of new dogs and did very well. Still at times he is stubborn with the leash and wants to sit but he is coming around.

17 Weeks Plus/Minus a Few Days

So Captain today went to the vet and got his last set of shots and did great. He weighed in at 19 lbs 13 oz so still a big boy. All he wants to do is crawl up on you and cuddle. Him and Malibu are the best of friends and constantly play. Captain will start puppy classes first week of March sorta. The first class on March 3rd is orientation only and no dogs allowed :-(  Hopefully we will met up with Carolyn and Alden next Friday can't wait. As you can see he is still Ear Challanged but we are working on it.

Ears Sorta Up

Well Captain's Right ear is up but his left wants to fold at times, okay most the time. So I am not sure if I just tape that ear if it will make the bend stronger. Any Comments would be appreciated. Not sure if I need to tape both ears or not. Captain has gotten his AKC registration accepted and will have his rabies shot this coming Friday the 20TH ans starts puppy class on Tuesday March 3rd. Will try to put up some pics later today

A Tapping We Shall Go, Again

So we are back to the tape, this time I used some moleskin to the inside and I will be taping a whole week, anytime they start to come out we will retape. Hopefully this will be his last week of taping. So when next week pictures are taken maybe I will take them out, let them breath, take the pics, and right back to the tape until next Friday. Wish us luck!

Captain 15 weeks and yes ears back down :o(

Well here are the best pics I got at lunch today. Still trying to learn how to stack and keep him still. I will be taping again but this time I might leave it on for a week with occasional retape within the week. Wish me luck

Ears Could Be Back Down

Well I am told they are back down. I am at work and was unable to take his new stacked pics last night. I will have them taken tomorrow and post by noon. I will then go back and tape, hopefully for the last time as this was the longest they have stood up.

Ears Could Be Up

Well after the last taping of Captain which lasted from Friday morning to Sunday morning things could be heading in the right direction. Even as we speak he is asleep with his rt ear up. Although they do not stay up all the time like Malibu's whenever he is playing or gets on the alert they are up so I hope we are there. Also looks as if some of his baby teeth are going and filling in with new ones. They grow up so fast. Will try to post week 15 tonight when I can try to stack and Denise takes the pics.

Softball Is Here

Well this past Thursday my daughter started her first College seasom. She lead the team off with the first hit of the year or should I say double. SHe makes me so proud to see were she came from to what she developed into. Here aresome pics.
